A search was underway Saturday for a 12-year-old girl who went missing from Hawthorne.
Angel Marie Birchfield was last seen about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 14100 block of South Corday Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Birchfield is described as Black, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, brown eyes, brown hair styled in box braids, wearing a brown turtleneck sweater, black jeans and pink-and-black Puma shoes, sheriff’s officials said.
She might be around Hawthorne or headed to Pasadena or Torrance, the officials said. Her family is concerned for her well-being.
