Firefighters extinguished a house fire in Hyde Park.
The blaze on the 6600 block of South Fifth Avenue was reported at 1:32 p.m. Friday, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The department dispatched 22 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames within 14 minutes, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
