Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested three suspects who were barricaded inside an apparent warehouse in Santa Clarita Saturday after initially believing there was only one man alleged to be armed inside.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Enforcement Bureau responded about 5:30 a.m. Saturday to a structure in the 25500 block of Springbrook Avenue, the department said.

The department’s Crisis Negotiation Team also responded and worked to make contact with the suspect. Civilians were evacuated from the immediate area.

At 5:33 p.m., sheriff’s officials reported that three suspects were arrested from that scene, including one who surrendered immediately after the Special Enforcement Bureau began announcing its planned actions, and two others who surrendered after chemical agents were deployed.

Sheriff’s officials did not release what the suspects were alleged to have done, whether any firearms were recovered, nor the ages and genders of the additional suspects.

A Google image check of the area showed the structures to be warehouses.
