A man was found fatally wounded Sunday morning in Cerritos, authorities said.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Cerritos station responded to the 13300 block of Artesia Boulevard regarding a vehicle collision call at about 1:15 a.m. They found a vehicle with significant front-end damage and a man inside suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Paramedics rushed the man — described only as a male Hispanic adult — to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

No further information was immediately available.
