The California Highway Patrol Monday issued a Silver Alert to help locate an at-risk 70-year-old man missing from Alhambra.
David Chiu was last seen at about 11 p.m. Sunday at North Granada Avenue and Sherwood Road, according to the Silver Alert.
Chiu is Asian, 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, wearing green jacket, brown pants and black shoes. He is believed to be on foot.
Anyone with information that could lead authorities to Chiu is asked to call 911.
The CHP activates Silver Alerts when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person goes missing and is determined to be at risk to provide immediate information to the public so they may be located more quickly.
