One person was extricated from a vehicle Sunday after it crashed into a hill in an unincorporated area of Riverside County.
The crash was reported at 8:43 a.m. Saturday at La Sierra Avenue and Orange Lane in the Lake Hills community, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The victim was trapped inside the vehicle for about 40 minutes, and was transported to a nearby hospital in a serious condition, fire officials said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
