A motorist was arrested Tuesday following a brief chase in the Pasadena area.
The pursuit began when California Highway Patrol officers attempted to pull over a Mercedes-Benz sedan for speeding on the northbound Arroyo Seco (SR110) Parkway near Via Marisol shortly before 6 a.m., according to the CHP.
The motorist kept going and went onto surface streets before stopping near San Gabriel and Del Mar boulevards at 6:11 a.m., when officers took the driver into custody. The person’s name was not immediately available. No injuries were reported.
