A man was found dead Friday inside a building in the Garment District of Central Los Angeles.
Fire officials were notified at 8:44 a.m. Friday by the Los Angeles Police Department of a person found not breathing at 944 E. Pico Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Paramedics and firefighters dispatched to the location reported a man dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office was notified of the death.
A watch commander at the LAPD’s Newton station and a spokesperson with the department’s Media Relations Division could not be reached for immediate comment.
