A man was shot by a suspect in a vehicle as he walked in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 7:20 p.m. Sunday at 12th and Alvarado streets, according to Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
A vehicle drove by the 19-year-old man and shots were fired from it, Orris said.
The victim had stable vital signs after he was driven to a hospital in a private vehicle, the officer said.
