Police released surveillance images Tuesday to generate public assistance in locating a man and a woman who allegedly burglarized four businesses in the Eagle Rock area.
Officers responded to the 4100 block of Verdugo Road around 4:30 a.m. Monday regarding reports of a passenger exiting a four-door, charcoal gray, early 2020 model BMW 3 Series moments before allegedly smashing the front glass doors to all the businesses with a crowbar, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
“The suspect entered each business, ransacked each location, and removed U.S. currency from the cash register of one of the businesses,” police said.
Upon further investigation, detectives determined that an unidentified woman driving the BMW participated in the getaway.
Detectives described the passenger as a 5-feet-7-inch tall man weighing approximately 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, pants, and white shoes.
