A man believed about 25 years old was wounded Tuesday morning in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 2:40 a.m. on Normandie Avenue just north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Cervantes told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance and his condition was not known, Cervantes said.
Suspect information was not immediately available.
