A 59-year-old woman who was shot to death in a parked vehicle in Compton was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
The shooting was reported just before 11 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of South Holly Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim was found seated in a parked vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said.
She was identified by the medical examiner as Beverly Wilkins.
