At least one person was injured in a possible shooting on a Foothill Transit bus on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Baldwin Park Monday evening.

Officers responded to a dispatch call around 6:05 p.m. Monday regarding a “possibly armed” suspect who was last seen at the Baldwin Park Towne Center, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The investigation by officers prompted the issuance of a SigAlert for the westbound freeway at Puente Avenue, which was expected to last for several hours.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics transported a passenger to a hospital for evaluation and treatment, KCAL reported.

The suspect was described only as a man in his 30s, according to CHP Lt. Saul Gomez.
