A woman who died after apparently falling over a cliff in San Pedro was identified Monday by authorities, who listed her death as an accident.
An emergency call about two victims near 807 W. Paseo Del Mar came in at 1:44 a.m. Sunday, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
A woman died at the scene, and another woman was examined at the scene but was not transported for hospital treatment, the LAFD reported.
On Monday, the fatally injured woman was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Scarlet Chavarin, 26, of Compton.
Chavarin’s cause of death was listed by the medical examiner’s office as “multiple blunt trauma” and her the manner of death was listed as “accident.”
