Firefighters Sunday knocked down a fire at a single-story abandoned restaurant in Koreatown.
Firefighters dispatched at 8:23 a.m. to 3455 W. Eighth St. had the fire out within 53 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. The department said 134 firefighters took part in the effort.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
