A fire damaged a vacant commercial building in the Lincoln Heights area Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 2800 block of North Broadway at 7:12 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 18 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
