A 43-year-old man is behind bars Thursday on charges of a road rage incident and hit-and-run in Garden Grove.
Dietrich Lee Arthur Hudson was charged Wednesday with seven felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run with property damage. He pleaded not guilty and was scheduled for a pretrial hearing July 25.
Hudson was accused of crashing into the rear of another car a few times in a road-rage dispute about 2:30 p.m. Monday at Euclid Street and Garden Grove Boulevard, police said. The other vehicle had seven people in it.
Hudson was also accused of an unrelated hit-and-run accident a short time before the alleged road rage incident, police said. No one was injured in either of the collisions.
Hudson’s city of residence was not made available.
