Police Wednesday are continuing their search for a suspect who stabbed a man after an argument in Long Beach.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called at 8:24 p.m. Monday to the 3300 block of Studebaker Road regarding a stabbing. When they arrived, officers found the victim with non-life-threatening stab wound to the upper body, police said.
During the course of their investigation, detectives learned an unknown male suspect and the victim had engaged in a verbal dispute after the suspect allegedly entered the victim’s residence without permission. As the altercation escalated, the suspect suddenly stabbed the victim and left the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
