Long Beach Police Department detectives are continuing their investigation Wednesday of a shooting that wounded a man who was sitting in a vehicle.
Officers responded at 12:47 a.m. Monday to the area of 14th Street and Daisy Avenue regarding a shots fired call. Upon their arrival, they found a man who was in his vehicle when he was struck by gunfire, according to the LBPD.
The victim suffered a superficial wound to his upper body and did not require medical attention.
No other injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
