Police Saturday were seeking about 50 teenagers who stormed a 7-Eleven near Beverly Hills, climbing on counters, pushing shelves to the floor and stealing merchandise in the latest in a string of robberies to targeting the convenience store chain.

The crime was reported around 8 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Olympic and La Cienega Boulevard.

Video surveillance footage shows the large group climbing on counters, throwing around items and pushing shelves to the floor. The youngsters were also seen snatching food and beverages including chips, soda and cigarettes before running out of the store with hands full. Some even brought backpacks.

Many of the suspects concealed their identities with a mask or hooded sweatshirts. By the time police arrived, the group that reportedly arrived on bicycles had sped away.

No arrests were reported as of Saturday.

Multiple 7-Eleven robberies have occurred in Los Angeles County in the last few months, including one night in May when six stores were robbed overnight in the county.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told City News Service that police were not sure whether the teens who carried out Friday’s crime had connections to any other robberies.
