Authorities Monday identified a motorcyclist who was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in Northridge.
The collision was reported at 10:10 p.m. Friday at Tampa Avenue and Plummer Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Erik Navarro, 32, of Arleta, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reported on Monday.
No description was released of the hit-and-run vehicle. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call 877-LAPD-247.
