Authorities say an armed barricaded suspect in Littlerock is in custody Friday.
Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department’s Palmdale Station responded at 2:30 a.m. to the 36400 block of 103rd Street East where they learned the suspect accused of assault with a deadly weapon had barricaded himself, the sheriff’s department said.
Deputies contacted the department’s Special Enforcement Bureau unit, which with the sheriff’s Crisis Negotiation Team and Mental Evaluation Team arrived to negotiate a possible surrender with the suspect.
Around 7:30 a.m., SED stated the operation in Antelope Valley had concluded and the suspect was in custody.
