Firefighters knocked down a fire at a one-story home in downtown Los Angeles Sunday.

A fire broke out in one of the rooms around 5:25 p.m. Sunday at 216 W. 118th Place, between Broadway and South Spring Street, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three dozen personnel knocked down the non-injury fire in under 15 minutes.

The cause of the fire was under investigation, Prange said.
