A fire in a one-story industrial building in downtown Los Angeles was knocked down in 38 minutes by 83 firefighters Thursday evening with no injuries reported.
The fire at 1213 E. Industrial St., between Sixth and Seventh streets, about a block-and-a-half west of Alameda Avenue, was reported around 7:05 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
