The FBI sought the public’s assistance Monday in locating the person responsible for the shooting death of a 28-year-old man in Compton.
Investigators responded to the 800 block of East Greenleaf Boulevard on June 7 at around 7:45 p.m. regarding shots fired at a pool party, where Robert Abdelkader III sustained fatal injuries, according to the FBI.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting, and several other victims were also injured. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
A standing reward of up to $20,000 is being offered by the FBI for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect.
