Firefighters Friday were working to extinguish a fire in a vacant house in Woodland Hills and prevent the flames from spreading to nearby brush and trees.
The fire was reported about 6:20 a.m. in the two-story building in the 22000 block of West Mulholland Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were immediately reported. Traffic was routed away from the area as a precaution.
