A woman was found dead in Pomona Saturday morning and an investigation was underway to find the person or persons responsible.
The woman was found unresponsive at 6:41 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of West Holt Avenue, according to Sgt. Blake Jensen of the Pomona Police Department.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Jensen said. Her name was not released.
Homicide detectives began a crime scene investigation, but the motive for the crime was not yet known, police said.
