A man was shot Saturday by a person on a moped in Historic South-Central Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred about 2:35 p.m. Saturday at Hill Street and Adams Boulevard, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The victim, believed about 30 years old, was found conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound to his head, said Madison.
Paramedics took the victim to a hospital by ambulance with stable vital signs, the officer said.
The suspect was described as Black male, about 5-foot-9, wearing a blue bucket hat and a jacket, and armed with a semiautomatic handgun. He was riding a moped, Madison said.
A possible motive for the shooting was unknown.
