A 34-year-old man was killed by a hit-and-run motorist while walking inside a crosswalk at a Jefferson Park intersection, authorities said Monday.
The man was walking northbound across Adams Boulevard at Gramercy Place on Sunday when an eastbound vehicle struck him and kept going, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the man as Los Angeles resident Geraudis William Perez, who died at the scene.
A description of the vehicle that struck him was not immediately available.
