A suspect was being sought Tuesday after reports of shots fired in the downtown Los Angeles area.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Toluca Street around 1:05 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was unclear if anyone was injured.
The suspect fled the location heading northbound on Toluca Street, police said.
The suspect was described as a 6-foot-2-inch man with dreadlocks who was last seen wearing a light-colored T-shirt and carrying a handgun.
No further details were immediately available.
