An arson suspect was in custody Sunday after investigators from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department determined a Lake Forest brush fire was intentionally set.
Around 1 p.m. Sunday, authorities responded to a call from the area of Portola and Rancho parkways in Lake Forest, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Firefighters extinguished the brusher, limiting it to under three acres.
A description of the suspect was not provided, nor were details about a possible motive. It was unclear how investigators came to identify the suspect.
