A fire damaged a a carport to the rear of a four-story apartment building in the Koreatown area Wednesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the100 block of South Catalina Street about 1 p.m. extinguished the flames in 27 minutes and prevented the flames from extending to the apartment building, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
