A truck fire prompted closure of a section of the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway Wednesday in Santa Monica.
The fire was reported at about 7:30 a.m. near Fourth Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The eastbound freeway was closed between the McClure Tunnel and Lincoln Boulevard, a closure that was continuing about two hours afterward, the CHP reported.
Traffic was routed around the area. No injuries were immediately reported.
