Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday are investigating a series of shootings in an apartment in Bellflower that left two people dead and another wounded in what authorities say was a possible murder-suicide.
The shootings occurred at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 8500 block of Artesia Boulevard, where Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded regarding a shots fired call, according to the LASD. When they arrived, deputies heard additional shots and established a perimeter outside the apartment., according to reports from the scene.
NBC 4 reported the ex-boyfriend of a woman living at the apartment broke in and fatally shot her before killing himself. Another person was taken a hospital in an unknown condition.
