A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer crashed Thursday on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway south of downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash occurred north of the Santa Monica (10) Freeway at 6:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol and the LAPD.
The officer was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. Some lanes were blocked in the area while an investigation was conducted.
