Two people died Saturday during a crash in Riverside, the Riverside Police Department announced.
Officers responded to the Orangecrest neighborhood near the intersection of Wood Road and Van Buren Boulevard.
All lanes of Wood Road between Van Buren Boulevard and Silo Street were closed for investigation as well as all westbound lanes of Van Buren Boulevard from Bountiful Street to Wood Road.
It was unknown how many vehicles were involved in the crash.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
