A 39-year-old man who pleaded guilty to multiple charges including inflicting corporal injury on a spouse in Riverside County has been sentenced to probation.

In addition to the aforementioned felony count, Jonathon Rigoli entered guilty pleas at the Larson Justice Center in Indio on Friday to felony counts of vandalism and grand theft over $950, according to case records, as well as a misdemeanor count of preventing or dissuading a witness.

Thalia Hayden of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to City News Service that Rigoli received a 36-month probationary sentence.

Other terms of the sentence included 179 days to be served in the work release program, enrollment in a year-long domestic violence program, 60 hours of community service, a ban on possession of firearms and a restitution payment, the amount of which was not yet determined, according to case records.

Rigoli was accused of “[inflicting] a corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition” upon his unnamed spouse, also a parent of his child, in April 2023, according to a criminal complaint. Case records indicate that he was arrested on April 16, 2023.
