Four people were shot and two others suffered stab wounds during an assault at a home in Riverside, authorities said Sunday.
Paramedics were dispatched at 10:35 p.m. Saturday to 11240 Town and County Drive, the Riverside Fire Department reported.
Three people suffered critical injuries and three others suffered moderate injuries.
“Riverside Police Department arrived first, and cleared fire units into the scene once it was safe,” said Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Pat Hopkins.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the assaults was being handled by the Riverside Police Department.
