A Metro A Line train and a vehicle collided Wednesday in an unincorporated area near Watts and one person was injured.
Paramedics were sent to Graham Avenue and Nadeau Street in the Florence-Firestone area about 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. One person was taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Rail service was interrupted between the Slauson and Firestone stations, and buses were brought into service to transport rail passengers between the stations, according to Metro.
As of 7 p.m., the vehicle was removed from the tracks, and normal service resumed.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
