A man was stabbed in the lower body during an argument with a suspect in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he was treated for his wound, which was not considered life-threatening, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers located the victim after they were dispatched to the 3400 block of East Fourth Street, near Redondo Avenue, at about 8:50 p.m. Friday in response to a report of a stabbing.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers and police had no suspect description.
