A woman was shot to death in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The shooting occurred at about 11:40 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of Gaviota Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Paramedics rushed to her a hospital, where she died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
No further information was immediately available.
