A motorist was killed Tuesday in a crash in Long Beach, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 7:35 a.m. Tuesday at Wardlow Road and Palo Verde Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, the LBPD reported. Information on his identity was not immediately available.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the death.
