A group of burglary suspects are on the loose Friday after they allegedly broke into a home in Tarzana.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Valley Division responded to a reported home invasion call at 5727 Shirely Ave. and Hatteras Street, north of the Ventura (101) Freeway at 11:40 p.m Thursday. When they arrived, the homeowners told police she called 911 after seeing the suspects breaking into her home and entered the living room, ABC 7 reported.

The homeowner told police she hid in an upstairs master bedroom closet until officers arrived. It was not immediately known if the burglars stole any property.

The suspect left before police arrived and remain at large.
