A man was in the hospital Friday after he was shot during an altercation with another man near the Hollywood (101) Freeway.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a shots fired call at 11:05 p.m. Thursday to 321 N. Vermont Ave. between Beverly Boulevard and Oakwood Avenue where the learned the victim and another man were fighting when the suspect drew a gun and shot the victim, an LAPD spokeswoman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital and said the victim was in stable condition.
