Officers recovered a pistol during a traffic stop in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The traffic stop occurred at 8:20 p.m. Thursday in the area of 4th Street and Lime Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers recovered the pistol during their investigation and also discovered the motorist had open warrants for his arrest. The suspect, who was determined to be a prohibited possessor, was arrested and transported to the Long Beach City Jail for booking.
The investigation was ongoing.
