A robbery suspect has been “contained” in an area of Culver City, though no arrests have been reported, authorities said Saturday.
A Culver City Police Department watch commander told City News Service that the suspect robbed a Shell gas station at 10332 Culver Blvd.
According to multiple media reports, the robbery occurred at about 9 a.m. Saturday and one person suffered minor injuries.
The watch commander would not confirm reports that the suspect was holed up inside a residence.
The department sent out an advisory asking the public to avoid the area of Jasmine Avenue and Braddock Drive, and added that a drone was being deployed.
