Firefighters knocked down flames engulfing a detached garage in Sherman Oaks Sunday.
The fire was reported around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, at 14321 W. Hartsook St., just west of the Ventura (101) Freeway and San Diego (405) Freeway interchange, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In about half an hour, the fire was contained and prevented from spreading to a second garage exposed to the flames, the LAFD reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was unavailable.
