A burglary suspect is holed up Saturday inside a location in Montebello and the sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau is assisting the city’s police department with the incident.
It was reported at 2:50 a.m. in the 300 of North 19th Street and surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Special enforcement officers assumed tactical command and Crisis Negotiation and Mental Evaluation teams will attempt to contact the burglary suspect.
There was no other immediate information available.
