A 41-year-old man fatally shot in Moreno Valley was identified Monday.
The victim was identified by Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit investigators as Banning resident Donneal Eugene Jones, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Leota Court at around 7:20 p.m. Sunday to reports regarding a traffic collision, where a man was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was unclear what motivated the fatal shooting, and there was no description of a suspect.
