One person was killed Wednesday when a vehicle crashed into a tree in Jurupa Valley.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Jurupa Valley station responded to a major injury traffic collision around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Limonite Avenue, west of Peralta Place.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
A temporary road closure was in effect “to process the scene and collect evidence” on Limonite Avenue, between Peralta Place and Camino Real, according to sheriff’s Sgt. Ignacio Robles.
